We are home to the 2017 Little League World Series runner-up team, as well as many community baseball teams and organizations, including Jackie Robinson Baseball, and to East Carolina University, which has hosted the NCAA World Series regional in 2018 and 2019. Several local private clubs in addition to municipalities have extremely well-maintained tennis courts.
